I agree that Spear of Fury was made for Save Yourselve's
I've been running this lately:
[Imbagon's Smarter Cousin; OQGjUumKqSKYzgWYXFxgAhtb1YA]
Another thing I've been contemplating is using [Spear swipe] with [blazing finale]. SW to get close to the foe, and BF to put the burn on.

Since [spear of fury] requires a condition I use [anthem of weariness] along with [focused anger]. At the start of battle, bring up [anthem of weariness] and attack from range of course with [spear of fury] and then [save yourselves] is charged and ready to spam.

Spear of fury is overkill and pointless pretty much. You don't need it to spam save yourselves, you will have enough adrenaline without it. I usually replace it for the ebon ward for damage to help over all damage with the team.

been testin ["go for the eyes!"][barbed spear][spear of fury]["save yourselves!"]["theres nothing to fear!"][focused anger][anthem of flame][aggressive refrain]
this works alright so far.

SoF isn't bad-but you do get more party wide DPS if you bring something like EBoH, and I think for a personnal DPS, YMLaD does better. And I don't really have any adrenaline issues running SY with the "standard" support skills (and this is especially true for a group that uses [[anthem of fury] or [[dark fury]).
I use SoF however when I run either [[cruel spear] or [[stunning strike].
Also-if you're running IMBA, you don't need GFtE-everyone seems to think that you do, but you should be getting enough energy from SY! itself. Also, [[barbed spear] is mediocre at best-[[spear of redemption] is much much better. If you're using SoF, having either [[anthem of flame] or [[anthem of weariness] is enough.

so if [spear of redemption] beats [barbed spear] what should I put in for ["go for the eyes!"]
also if i drop [barbed spear] ill have to wait 10 sec to fuel [spear of fury] or rely on h/h conditions and thats just not fun.

Good point Stealth. Fact is, half these guys havn't tested this build they are using theory. However, both you and I know that Barbed spear helps SoF work without having to leave it to chance. From my experience with this build, leaving it to chance is just like waiting at a bus stop, you just wait and wait which is not fun for the monks because they need all the help they can get.
Also, I totally think [Barbed Spear] works over [blazing spear] in most instances because it takes less adrenaline to get it hot and ready, however, there are some foes out there that do not bleed such as Jade Armors, but they sure do burn! Thus, I would put Blazing in for those areas.
Second, the ONLY reason why I would drop GFtE is if I was noticing I had way too much energy going on. However, I havn't used GFtE with Focused Anger yet because I just havn't gotten around to it. So if you notice you are running out of energy, then I would put GFtE back in because it is a great skill and it provides mucho energy.

Bleeding is a terrible condition on it's own, and that's pretty much common knowledge, I thought.

[spear of lightning][spear of fury][save yourselves][theres nothing to fear][aggressive refrain][anthem of weariness][for great justice][focused anger]
This is the build I normally use with tweaks in certian areas. There is no need for [barbed spear] if you trigger [anthem of weariness] BEFORE you attack with [spear of fury] the condition will trigger and you will get the bonus to your adrenaline. There is a 10 sec recharge for [anthem of weariness] and a 8 second charge for [spear of fury] so there is only a few seconds in between the two so im not why you are waiting for so long. So I always have a condition available when I attack with [spear of fury]. Oh and I have zero issues with energy management.

NEWS FLASH(I know its old news): if you use spear of fury with anthem of weariness it will trigger the bonus adrenaline.
So you only need anthem of weariness and spear of fury. No, anthem of flame doesn't work that way.
Tested in islands using focused anger, anthem of weariness and spear of fury, while having save yourselves as adrenaline meter. Spear used - vampiric.
So you activate focused anger or for great justice, cast anthem of weariness, throw spear of fury and you have a fresh save yourselves.

Well, you can still use Anthem of Flame, just use some other attack skill to trigger it :3

Are you sure ? I just started a para and have been using it after checking it on a few targets. My SoF normally returns 4Adr if the target is under a condition
Hit [For Great Justice]+[Anthem of Flame]+[Spear of Fury] = Fully charged [Save Yourselves]
or am i being thick somewhere?

Then the enemy already had a condition on him, because I've tested AoF many times and it doesn't work with SoF
On a different note, I miss the old Expert's Dexterity :/ Being able to spam SoF every couple of seconds was nice.

I was the only party member, with only those 4 skills testing it on the dummies and MoD so i had no other way to apply any conditions.

Hi!
I used to use AoF before, then I switched to AoW and have seen the condition apply on the mob before spear hit so it does work. I have noticed a huge jump in effectiveness using Spear of Fury and AoW. I'm sure rank 9 Kurzick helps me too, but I don't remember AoF ever applying BEFORE the spear hit so I'll be sticking with AoW.

AoF was changed a while back, works just like AoW now when used with SoF.. Just to let you all know, now get back on your Para's and play them once in a while
